Welcome! TrickFire Robotics is the premier aerospace robotics club at the University of Washington Bothell. We currently compete in the University Rover Challenge by the Mars Society and have been competing in robotics competitions since 2016. We are diverse, interdisciplinary, and 100% student-led.
Our current rover, Viator, is designed specifically for the University Rover Challenge (URC). Through iterative development, our robot will be able to accomplish a wide variety of tasks to help astronauts over the course of four URC missions. For example, the rover will be able to extract regolith, detect life, and type. Viator and related prototypes give us the bulk of our recent experience and hands-on work.
We are theory and teaching used in reality to make a physical product. Through this, such skills will be further improved. No current experience needed.
We are a large-scale team of students from many different majors and backgrounds in a professional environment.

Since 2016 TrickFire robotics has been dedicated to building a strong student and alumni community of talented engineers, marketers and scientists. We unite across the years by our mission to develop ourselves by developing our rovers.
